About Deborah Hannam

After being at home with my four boys for 14 years I knew that if I was to get back out into the big wide working world it would have to be to do something that I really, really cared about.  In 2015, I made the decision to take up my studies again and gained my Birth & Beyond Degree with the National Childbirth Trust, specialising in Antenatal Education and qualifying as a Birth Doula.   I now have a wealth of experience supporting families during pregnancy, delivering antenatal education and supporting women through birth as a doula in Gloucestershire & Worcestershire.  I run a Pregnancy Cafe in Tewkesbury once a month, bumps and new mamas are all very welcome.  If you are struggling to find antenatal sessions that fit with your busy life, or you prefer to have an antenatal session all to yourself, maybe groups aren't your thing? Then I offer 1-2-1 antenatal sessions as the perfect alternative (antenatal sessions also provided as part of my doula packages). 

I am experienced in supporting births at home, birth centres, hospital birth, caesarean birth, multiple pregnancy, VBAC, surrogacy..... each and every birth I have the privilege to attend is as unique and individual as the women I support.  

I provide birth support in Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, the Forest of Dean, Worcester, Evesham and surrounding areas.
